Time for a little Bullmark Ufo Diapolon Standard Size foto review.
I call him “blocky eye” variant of the ST vinyl Diapolon.
“Blocky eye”, “big eye” Diapolon…I don’t know if there’s a “official” name for this guy?
He’s not really a variant, with his body mold he’s a complete different & new,
compared to his “standard” brother.
This version of Diapolon is a bit more rarely I think,
compared to the “normal” standard size vinyl.
No, “high end” vinyl, but a nice addition to every Diapolon collection.
Here are the foot markings of this guy.
Finally a little group shot with the usual suspects.
Second Diapolon from left (in bag) is the “normal” ST size version.
I personally like the sculpture of him, all in all a nice piece of vinyl.
OK.. This piece is up there with the holy grails of missile vinyls. Gowapper Godamu (ゴワッパー5 ゴーダム) RULES! A direct descendent of the Sanzen missile firing Gakeen vinyl, this is probably one of the most beautiful missile vinyls out there.. Suspiciously, it looks very Bullmark to me, but what do I know?
Aesthetically it’s robust and perfectly configured. You be the judge. Yet another short and sweet review of a piece that is far beyond words. Enter GODAMU:
You can see our “Movie” section for more Godamu love here circa 1976:

This is really a deluxe toy. You get a Plastic Atom Boy with a diecast endo-skeleton
in a beautiful box. Lots of fantastic features. I’m totally flashed by this toy!
You all know this toy, but I thought it is time for some extra love…
Had to buy 2 to get one perfect specimen. I don’t regret it, because now I could display one
and play with the other ;-)
Dismantle Atom Boy in order to put the endo-skeleton inside his body. Some of the skeleton parts (arms, tank tracks) are made out of heavy diecast.
You could assemble the skeleton parts to a robot etc…Ark-style-play-feature.
Now you know where the guys from Pixar got the idea for the design of WALL•E. A few detail shot of the endo-skeleton parts.
The greatest detail of Atom is his “chest part” with the moving gears under
a window. You really could “move ” these gears with one of the 2 “screwdrivers”.
Atom Box also comes with a very nice illustrated instruction sheet and a few stickers.
Bought my first Nakajima Tiger Mask Standard Size Vinyls: Great Zebra & Mr Question
I always had an eye on these crazy looking Wrestlng guys,
but didn’t dare to start collecting them. I know why!
These japanese Luchas are pure funk and you want them all ;-)
After cleaning them with all kinds of plasic & car paint cleaners
they look very good again. I also tried a Ultra sonic Cleaner
the first time for cleaning the face, boots, hands etc.
Worked very good! Only water with a bit soap, leaving
them a few minutes in the Ultra Sonic Bath and the dirt has
gone without destroying the paint.
I already won a few other of these psychadelic wrestling guys Yahoo.
The good thing is that they pop up quiet often. Only getting them
complete with all “accessories” (sash, cape, boots etc) is a bit tricky
and pushes up the price for them. The Tiger Mask Bug bite me !
I’m going through the sea of crap I have in cases and slowly storing stuff in an effort to make space. Thought I would take a quick minute to bust out a few pics of these guys together. At some point I’ll need to take out my chogokin and popynica and take a massive group shot. Enjoy!
Regan and I went to have lunch, and spend some quality time with Warren and to see a few of the recent, and remarkable finds he has picked up in the past few months.
Yet another Mad Baron, and this one’s a tribute to Ganbaron the pilot of one of my all time favorite super robots Daibaron (big baron) . I have to say, this Zollmen guy really gets it as far as I’m concerned. Meka Goji head under his dome, Jumbo Machinder XX arm attachment (another fav of mine), Ultraman building?, missile firing pins sculpted into the arms, homage to Mach / Red Baron and last but not least the quintessential metallic silver katakana waist belt with BOLD lettering. Love it ALL. Took me a bit to warm up to this guys work, but I have to say we have very similar taste. See gallery for more pics.
Ganbaron (å°ã•ãªã‚¹ãƒ¼ãƒ‘ーマン ガンãƒãƒãƒ³ ChÄ«sana SÅ«pÄman Ganbaron?) was a 1977 Japanese tokusatsu live action television show featuring Japan’s own version of American superhero Superman.

When I look at this picture all I can hear is Ian MacKaye chanting:
BIG thanks to Uncle Warren for the MB talker!! UW is hands down the kindest, coolest and most generous person I know in this hobby.. He’s made many of my dreams into reality. I can’t thank him enough! Oh, and thanks to JF who sold UW his MIB MB talker. Enough acronyms/abbreviations for ya?
