The lost Morphey files
This is what happens when you have about 8,000 photos on your desktop and you forget there was a whole Morphey “roll” left hidden in a folder.
Looking through these makes me want it to happen all over again. One of the finest couple days with my toy brothers ever.
Photos shown in the order they were taken.

Pure Energer
I’m not much into SOCs, much less another Mazinger (ok, technically it’s Energer-Z), but this one jumped out at me. I primarily bought it for the colors…they really make this toy “pop”. It doesn’t hurt that it’s got alot of diecast in it, and a ton of articulation (it appears to be on par with the GX-45). It’s got the standard magnetic arms and rocket punch, and comes with tiny Koji on bike. A very worthwhile addition.

Marusan Lite
I decided to pick these up on a whim, with a recent HLJ order. I didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by these little gems. They are mini reproductions (about 3-4in high) by Banpresto, of battery powered model kits originally done by Marusan back in the day. The most amazing part is that the original box art was reproduced, as well. Each box comes with a “painted” version and an “unpainted” version, unassembled, with repro battery pack. There appear to be little secret figures, like the clear Neronga, thrown in. $20 well spent.

Welcome to the U.C., baby…
Ok, not really. It doesn’t move or anything. Still, very impressive looking. This life size Gundam is being assembled in Odaiba for the 30th Anniversary of Gundam, and apparently to garner support for the Olympics in Tokyo in 2016.
