Good news for those who missed out the first time around: according to Figure King magazine, Japanese toy-maniac Koji Igarashi’s legendary Encyclopedia of Chogokin and Popinika, originally published by the Green Arrow Grafitti corporation in 1997, is getting re-issued!

Due to be released in conjunction with the Chogokin Expo 2004 this spring, the book will feature a redesigned cover. No word yet as to if it will include new content or be available outside of the show.

The Encyclopedia of Chogokin and Popinika continues to reign as the single best guidebook for collectors of vintage Popy diecast toys. For more info, click here for the 1998 ToyboxDX review of the first edition of the book.
