Check it out: a gimmick-packed diecast of the Mach Five from Speed Racer and a nothing-short-of-spectacular remake of one of the most underappreciated robots of all time - the Daikyojin from "Yattodetaman." And yes, it'll combine with the horse to make the centaur-like Daitenba. "

The Mach Five looks like it'll be out in summer of 2000; Daikyojin will come out sometime shortly thereafter.

"No word as to when these'll be available retail, but we'll post info as soon as they release it." Uni-Five has also released photos of a beautiful new kit of the Tiger Moth, the aircraft from Miyazaki's classic "Castle in the Sky Laputa." Checkitout: it's a skeleton-like framework of photoetched brass. Hope you've got a pair of tweezers and a lot of time on your hands.
