Well, it finally happened. I got my first vintage Japanese Jumbomachinder in the mail a few weeks ago and am in a full Getta Freak! The box had that dusty, decomposing, ashen quality that Matt Alt has frothed about for a year.

The treads on this bad boy fold beautifully, and the missiles -- while kind of whiffy -- pop off with a satsfying, um, "pop!"

I think once you've tasted 24" glory from Japan, you just can't go back to the domestic stuff...
