jet jaguar loving So i think about random subjects while here at work. I have had the typical "wouldn't it be cool if" they made this toy discussions as we all have. I am watching a godzilla movie right now and jet jaguar is on. I have Always loved his design and have been very suprised no diecast or non vinyl renditions of him have been made. Obviously i have an affinity for tin windups and Jet would be first on my list of characters to be done. but i was thinking that right now, about how freaking sweet a nice sized SOC of this unloved robot would be. can any of you Toho/Godzilla experts tell me if he was in anything other than Godzilla vs Megalon?? I saw the Billiken soft kit in tokyo built up in a store, and fell in love, but man i was drooling thinking how amazing a large diecast would be of him. bandai? I dig some of the clear figures. And I dig some of the stuffed, tinsely figures. But this guy with the clear parts and the hard-colored parts and the pipe cleaners.....eh. I'm grateful, though, since I'm broke. ;-)

Many thx for your compliment! My basic rate is a quite reasonable $17/hr. The Getter 1, with all the extra time for the masking and multiple thin paint layers (to achieve the variable color density) ended up at around 13 hours. If I am not mistaken, I believe Zonefighter started either that same year or the very next. Godzilla V Megalon definately came first, however, because it was that Megalon Goji suit that is used in all of Godzilla's Zonefighter appearences.
