It's the impossible to frickin' find Edda-Heada from the three piece Mechablok set.
The final combination:
[toyboxdx.com]
All three:
[toyboxdx.com]
I swear, this particular toy has eluded me SINCE THE YEAR IT CAME OUT. Been trying to find the damn thing since I was a kid. I still have the other two my parents got me for Christmas (1977 I think?) Sheesh. C'mon universe, give it up already.

Mike I have seen this set for sale 3 times in the past year on YHJ. I had it as a kid. I was very tempted to bid on it but passed because it was outside my realm of focus. Next time I see one I will send you the link.
You are going to laugh and simaltaniously cry. I had this set MIMB and for years it got destroyed. I eventually made the remains into an art toy project for my Foundations 3d class at Risd in 93'.
We had kids come in to look at our toy designs to see if we suceeded in making something kids would want to play with... and one of them bought the thing off me for $1 in pocket change in front of the class because he loved what I made out of it. Very touching and vivid memory.
Bought this set the same time I found that Ultraman Leo tin and Takemi Pegas at the flea market in 84' for like 12 bucks total.

You're not alone with that wish Mike ;-)
Last time I bid on one was in June this year.
Unfortunately my max was a bit too low...to be honest I didn't really know
what this Header "could cost".
Now I know it ;-)

I suppose I should have picked up one of those sets dangit. Stephan, just out of morbid curiosity, what was the final on the Header? I assume 700-800?
Josh...yes, stories like that make my head spin and still provide fuel for these insane "discovery" dreams that I'm apparently stuck with forever. Twelve bucks. That's probably the best score ever.
