The Meer Campbell one is really creepy. No 10-year old girl should be that stacked. EVER.
Here's their Macross counterparts:
However, I need to ask Bandai: Where are our Half Age Boy figures? We really do need a 10-year old Heero and Kira!
There are way too few figures of male characters, IMHO (excluding Saint Seiya), although I am sorely tempted by Figma Golgo 13... (perhaps I should buy him, and a box of those Gundam figures just to be able to have him shoot them with his M-16).

GODDAMNIT, why did you have to post that?!? It made me check out the original video, and that gave me the urge to NUKE a mid-sized city from ORBIT using the ENTIRE Sovjet nuclear arsenal after only about 3 seconds of watching...and I'd actually do it if that city was filled with those two morons (and friends) who voiced that.

Yes, I do know what they are. It's just that "moe" + "bear" + "suit" (or rather "moe" + "bear suit") makes me think of a person wearing a furry (as in "animal fur") bear suit, and the most eye-searing example of such that I saw happens to be a furry fursuit. I should have added a " :P ".

I've been curious about that one.
I have Bright Feather on order at HLJ.
VF5SS, I'm surprised. I'd thought you'd never touch a Busou Shinki within a million years.
So i have to ask, what separates Bunsou Shinki from a figma? Is it because of the mecha connection and figmas are mostly schoolgirls?
I do some designs either hit or miss. If I like Bright Feather, I'll get more.

wat. they couldn't be more different.
Figmas are mostly custom-sculpted soft PVC, with standardized hard plastic joints inserted, like Revoltechs. Aside from those recognizable elbows, knees and so on, each Figma's parts are unique.
Busou Shinkis are all 'mechanical' construction, hard plastic halves held together with screws and rivets - the only soft plastic parts are the heads, hands and feet. Like Micromen and their bodies, the same few standard 'MMS' body types are shared by almost all Busou Shinkis, with the unique parts being heads and equipment.
As you have so unsubtly noted, Figmas are all licenced characters, mostly anime girls. I'm not sure if ANY Figmas are original designs, though there may be one or two.
In contrast, ALL Busou Shinkis are original designs, excepting only the MMS-body-based Sky Girls and Yoko from Gurren Lagann.

Paul,
It's not that they're female, it's that they're mostly of children in a distateful manner according to the overwhelming majority of people here. You didn't see anyonce complain about Fyana figures, or about the Mazinger ladies toys right? There's a huge difference.
MOE just isn't wanted here.

Wow, guys, I'm talking about Busou Shinki here. I really don't see the difference between VF5SS's Werkstra and an Iron Man figure.
Also, I'd imagine that you'd appreciate the facetious nature of my comment in context, since it's my fault that Busou Shinki is being discussed in a "MOE BULL SUIT" thread anyway.

Eh, Iron Man belongs over here (in OT), too.
I just think the majority of folks here aren't into "girl figures dressed in armor" (strictly because I notice that it's the same group of folks seriously commenting on these threads), hence it's relegated to the OT.

And yet, no one RAGEs when Iron Man is posted in the Invincible BBS. And the forum etiquette is dictated by those who RAGE most. The only thing posting an angry, profanity-laden rant can't accomplish is banishing Vincent.

Did you look at Werkstra? Are you aware what I'm talking about? Can you point me to the thread where someone explained coherently why Busou Shinkis of flying armored girls with guns are WRONG AND EVIL?
Did you miss the part where I made a facetious comment about this thread?

Nobody raged over what you're talking about. The RAGE was over the link attached to original post. Noone is raging over Werkstra (whatever the fuck that is).

Except, you know, if you read all the posts in the thread in order:
-I start posting about Busou Shinki
-VF5SS posts a review of a Busou Shinki named Werkstra
-I post my comment about the OT ghettoization of female toys
-you and Mason tell me everyone hates them
-I explain I'm talking about Busou Shinkis
-You continue as if I was talking about the lolicon figures from the first post.
Do you get it now?

Well, technically they're robot girls, so posting them on the invincible BBS should be entirely okay.
Currently I wonder whether rumbling about one that lacks bare boobage, lolimoe, or unfortunate theme conotations would be acceptable or would net me a stern talk from Alen...
Edit: The one I have in mind is about as offensive as a Saint Seiya Saint Cloth Myth figure...
