jeez. i know yuria isn't the most useful heroine but i don't think she's shit
So, wait, they're doing Baragon as a first in a Godzilla line, not the big guy himself?

It's foreplay.

Hell, either way I'll be nabbing it, especially with the little diorama bits. I, erm, that is, my kids will go crazy over it!

Bah... It's nice that the promo shots don't include the pelvic-thrust pose...but I'm just not feeling this style applied to super robots.

Done.

Double Bah.

I stand corrected.

Damn...Baragon comes with the little hut where he feasted on those dancing teenage hipsters...

I've been happily Revoltech free up until now but Damaijin and KAIJU revoltech is going to put a stop to that...
Anybody get the Booska?

Isn't the whole lineup of live-action characters part of the 'Revoltech SFX' subline, or something to that effect?

Whazzat? Hyper-Gyaos?

That Gamera could be bitchin'. Baragon's a must-have, for sure.
Wow, Baragon looks fantastic. And he comes with a horse that he can et. Any chickens?

Eeexcellent. I hope they'll make additional colors like with the old Kaiyodo Daimajin. I love the more dusty, splotchy colored version. Mmm.

I don't think it came out yet.

Yes. It appears to be a "catch-all" for stuff with a cinematic component. If I remember right, they've already shown Gamera, Gyaos, Batman, Jack Skellington, and T-Rex at least. I'm sure more news will follow soon at Vunder Fezhtival.

Gamera, by the way, looks fucking awesome. Replaceable "jet legs" and fireball blasts. Glorious. Maybe we'll even get to see a Gamera III version. Ahh... I'm going to slap some giant Revoltech cow-tits on all of them.

That's some sweet Baragon action going on there. I would guess it's a safe bet there's a Frankenstein in the future. Dare we hope for a Giant Octopus as well?

While the 'modern era' Gamera stuff is cool, I do hope they'll do the older monsters as well. I don't care, they're lovable stupid looking!

Yuria looks really good, but it doesn't make much sense to give her the 'Nanto Commander' helmet if they're not giving her the full body armor suit. It's supposed to be a shock that the Commander is a hot chick, see...not to mention it's Yuria.

Agreed. Showa stuff, in general, would kick much ass. Daimajin's a start, but isn't that Baragon from GMK, not Franky Conquers the World? (could be wrong...I sure hope I am)
Yeaaaah, you're probably right and that's a more 'current' version of Baragon. I haven't seen too many of the '2k' Godzilla films and I think Baragon got short-changed in 'Final Wars'.

Still, it's not like there's a HUGE difference and no reason whatsoever to not make a Frankenstein for him to fight.

Ohhh, can we hope for the Gargantuas?
Nope, that's Showa Baragon. Here's Heisei Baragon:

Here's the OG:

And here's a painted proto:

Plus, that's the house he smashes and the horse he chows down on in Frankenstein vs. Baragon.

Baragon wasn't really in Final Wars, that was leftover footage from GMK.

It would be nice if they did a Frankenstein to go with him. And then a set of Gargantuas. And chickens.
Sanjeev (Admin)
Excellent.

Agreed about the Gargantuas. I'm still bummed Y-MSF ground to a halt just before releasing theirs...

Hey...what's that silhoutte in the background behind the painted Baragon proto? Giant Chicken Bot (classic Moguera?!?)!!?
Yes, looks like it.
Sanjeev (Admin)
BLESS YOUR EYES, HARVEY!!

Not just any old Moguera...showa Moguera...not that crap heisei design!
Sweet. I like Moguera, but I think I'm the only person who likes Mecha Mogera...

Doing these secondary kaiju characters is a brilliant move on their part...well...brilliant because they're getting my attention. Would love to see Baragon, Moguera,Gargantuas, Frankenstein, Varan, Gorosaurus (!!!), or Ebirah before they do a Godzilla or Ghidora.
Sanjeev (Admin)
Now you're talking, man! Varan? AWESOME.

King Shisa...Titanosaurus...oh man...Jet Jaguar??
Oh man, Jet Jaguar would be crotch-thrustingly awesome to the extreme! I hear he mother never love the thrust.

After seeing the painted proto, I really don't dig the Baragon so much any more. Too many sacrifices made to the sculpt to add articulation.

Give me an 800 yen vinyl of him articulated at the shoulders and hips, I'd be happy. Bandai was halfway there a while back:

Heisei Mogura was awesome, but that's just me.

They look kinda snazzy, though.

I'd consider throwing down if they did a big classic Gojulas...crotch thrust and all! ;)

Definitely this.

My God! Anguilas, Maser cannon, Mothra, Moguera! I've never wanted Revoltechs more!

Huh... Mogera looks kinda really bad standing straight up like that... I'll be curious to see how well he poses. I will, however, take one Power Suit, please.

I'd love to see both versions of Moguera, actually. My son's such a huge Godzilla fan, he'll be thrilled to see these!

Dare I say it? Dare I?

I dare!

Varan would be...well...unbelievable.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHA

*snork*

And Mogera is amazing. they gave him a Markalite! I think maybe it's not quite in scale but so what!

Can't wait to see if it has the standard crotch thrust action...is this the new waist joint?

and some of the other stuff. I am really, really impressed. I hope they continue, keep pushing out cool stuff. I groove on the Maser Tank, can we hope other kaiju fighting vehicles show up? I'd love a Moonlight SY-3, and the Alpha and Beta airships, and all that nonsense!
Sanjeev (Admin)
The maser tank is indeed killer, but yeah, the lil Gargantuas miniature is way outta scale like Mogera's Markalite. Anyway, the SY-3 would be a no-brainer, but I'd also love to see some of the heisei era stuff like the various Super X ships.
They're also making Revoltech Starship Troopers powered suits (the 1970s novelization version by Naoyuki Katoh, not the 80s anime version). Maybe Matt can post a pic.

And why is this thread in OT?
