Eeexcellent. I hope they'll make additional colors like with the old Kaiyodo Daimajin. I love the more dusty, splotchy colored version. Mmm.

Yes. It appears to be a "catch-all" for stuff with a cinematic component. If I remember right, they've already shown Gamera, Gyaos, Batman, Jack Skellington, and T-Rex at least. I'm sure more news will follow soon at Vunder Fezhtival.

Gamera, by the way, looks fucking awesome. Replaceable "jet legs" and fireball blasts. Glorious. Maybe we'll even get to see a Gamera III version. Ahh... I'm going to slap some giant Revoltech cow-tits on all of them.

That's some sweet Baragon action going on there. I would guess it's a safe bet there's a Frankenstein in the future. Dare we hope for a Giant Octopus as well?

While the 'modern era' Gamera stuff is cool, I do hope they'll do the older monsters as well. I don't care, they're lovable stupid looking!

Yuria looks really good, but it doesn't make much sense to give her the 'Nanto Commander' helmet if they're not giving her the full body armor suit. It's supposed to be a shock that the Commander is a hot chick, see...not to mention it's Yuria.

Agreed. Showa stuff, in general, would kick much ass. Daimajin's a start, but isn't that Baragon from GMK, not Franky Conquers the World? (could be wrong...I sure hope I am)

Yeaaaah, you're probably right and that's a more 'current' version of Baragon. I haven't seen too many of the '2k' Godzilla films and I think Baragon got short-changed in 'Final Wars'.

Still, it's not like there's a HUGE difference and no reason whatsoever to not make a Frankenstein for him to fight.

Doing these secondary kaiju characters is a brilliant move on their part...well...brilliant because they're getting my attention. Would love to see Baragon, Moguera,Gargantuas, Frankenstein, Varan, Gorosaurus (!!!), or Ebirah before they do a Godzilla or Ghidora.

After seeing the painted proto, I really don't dig the Baragon so much any more. Too many sacrifices made to the sculpt to add articulation.

Give me an 800 yen vinyl of him articulated at the shoulders and hips, I'd be happy. Bandai was halfway there a while back:

and some of the other stuff. I am really, really impressed. I hope they continue, keep pushing out cool stuff. I groove on the Maser Tank, can we hope other kaiju fighting vehicles show up? I'd love a Moonlight SY-3, and the Alpha and Beta airships, and all that nonsense!

The maser tank is indeed killer, but yeah, the lil Gargantuas miniature is way outta scale like Mogera's Markalite. Anyway, the SY-3 would be a no-brainer, but I'd also love to see some of the heisei era stuff like the various Super X ships.

They're also making Revoltech Starship Troopers powered suits (the 1970s novelization version by Naoyuki Katoh, not the 80s anime version). Maybe Matt can post a pic.
