Looks Microman-ish.

I asked if I have "Time For L-Gaim" but I got "No Reply From The Wind".

Here's a groupshot of the Ulysses 31 gang

...some more stuff.

These are really cool. I always thought they were pretty common but now you hardly see them anymore. Sweet pics S :)

Awesome Stephan!! Thanks for posting these. I would LOVE to get my hands on these guys. I never see these for sale.
I bought these guys when I was in Paris in the early 90ties.

Ulysses 31 Robot Ingenere (Popy GB-51)

I regret today that I didn't bought them all in Box.
They had been very cheap at this time...but I spent my bucks
for Goldorak stuff & Shogun Warriors ;-)

Found this little clip:
Robot Ingenere is the BEST of the bunch, IMHO ;)
Don't forget Metro :)

Wow, cool Mike!

Metro from "Once Upon a Time... Space" aka in France " Il était une fois… l'Espace" from 1981/82.

I've seen this series on TV in germany.

They're "Microman-ish" because the character designer worked on Microman - Resuce/Police series.

Whoa...Robot Atleta. A mystery!
The "As seen on BBC TV" puzzles me a bit - were these ever released in the UK? Ulysses 31/Cities of Gold/Star Fleet/Battle of the Planets were my introduction into anime (though I didn't really find that out until much later) and I'm pretty sure I'd have gone nuts back then if I thought I could get toys in the UK. (as it turned out, there *were* Star Fleet toys, I just grew up in the wrong country...! :-) ).
Ulysses 31 Robot Ingenere should have a facebook
I'm gald you've mentioned Metro too.
I wonder if the animated show was aired in the USA ?

Yup! It aired back in '86. I watched a little bit, but I never caught the I don't know how they found their way back to Earth!

I downloaded the English dub of it a while back, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Oh, and I picked up a boxed Elion last year--nice toy!

I grabbed a DVD of it at a video store going out of business here in the US last year. Never got around to watching it. Maybe I'll do that tonight.
