Machine Robo Variant

Never knew there were gold variants on some of the Machine Robo toys. I guess a lot of toys back then just got the Gold Paint job to boost increase sales. I wonder what other Machine Robo got this treatment.

these were not for sale, but were freebies that were given away as part of some monthly campaign, 100 each a month for X number of months.

This has always been why I shy away from chromed toys. The wear over times drives me nuts. ( rocks back and forth in fetal position) ;-)

Although most wear here has been caused by parts rubbing against each other during the transformation...it's in pretty good condition otherwise.
