he is machine zaurer. i think he was a nagai go creation. he went through a bunch of renditions. one as a diaclone, one as the original and once again as ... i forget....

That is the Diaclone Machine Dragon, a recolor of the Magnemo Machine Saurer which had been released by Takara a few years prior.

What was the third rendition? I know there is the new Marmit vinyl version.
