[BROG] Ace of spades: Takemi Gingaizer Granfighter standard sofubi

I must be the smaller vinyls that I've seen a time or two recently, as sets on ebay.

Like most sofubi, the packaging just makes the toy so more displayable.
The paint job is amazingly crisp, and accurate to the artwork, for Takemi stuffs.

Tangent: I've only had the diecast Spinlancer, and gotta get around to the others, but they sure are articulated, and brickishy-awsomemagnatitude compared to other old bots, so I prefer them, but any toy of the character brings either a goofy smile, or a complete WTF!? look when someone sees Gingaizer stuff. I mean, seriously....

Forgive me Erik, I know you started with sofubi, but...I just gotta ask,
"Can your 33yr. old toy kick like this? Yeah." Wahaha

i love the pencil holder.

Ha! Nice "action shot". I love these toys, both in die cast and sofubi form. It's too bad the "DX" (calling it that is a stretch) Granfighter is so pricey. I still need that one...

Great toy. I think vinyl is a damn good medium for such a uniquely-designed robot! Besides the colors being well-balanced, the geometry is mushy enough for a vinyl to look accurate.

I want that pencil case! Same graphic on the other side?

27,500 yen is actually a pretty OK price for the standard Granfighter.

I was referring to the "DX" one which is more in the 100,000 - 150,000 yen range...

Yepp, the 27k yen really was a OK price,
I think the last 3 or 4 ST Granfighters went for 30-36k yen.
Just bought a nice loose one...so 27k only for the box and a few spare fists where too much for me ;-)

Well, the DX is completely out of range. You're right Robert.
I watched 2 auctions this year, they went for 320 & 347k yen. WOW!
