It's funny: I never get tired of these characters. And apparently neither did Bullmark, judging by how many versions they churned out.
Trivia: Tomoo Haraguchi, who is directing the upcoming live-action kaiju movie Death Kappa, wore the Blazer costume in at least several episodes of the show.

Yeah.. Thanks for "bothering" us..
I love these as well. I think you know due to our friendly competition. I'm really glad you got the Brazer in this size. So cool to see them both together. I'll throw up a review of the Godamu soon, but you make me ashamed of my pics. Great work as usual. Love this pic:

Just noticed you are missing the standard sized yellow armed/legged Rockbat vinyl. Shit. If memory serves I have an extra. I'll check when I get home next week. If so I'll send it to you.
E
Also, a quick question. You use the term "MSV". Does that mean missile shooting vinyl? The term most of us use is "MFV" missile firing vinyl. I know others just call them "missile vinyls". Just wondering.

In germany all serious Bullmark collectors use the term "MSV".
;-)
I correct it in the Brog, MFV sounds better...sorry, I'm just a stupid german.
Thanks again that you let me win that Blazer on Yahoo,
but I'm the fucking rich son of that german lady that won most of the
cool stuff at morphy's. my maximum was 50k yen :-D
No, that was nice of you Erik. I'm really happy I got that Blazer without a big bid-battle for a cool price. thanks again!
Apropos standard Rockbat.
I have him too, but I wanted only loose figures on the groupshot.
Also have a few more Blazers ;-)
There is one small vinyl Rockbat I'm missing, this one here:
[page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp]
I'm just waiting for another auction. 5k is a bit much I think.
But I bought this one here (wasn't a bargain...but I'm a Rockbat fan):
[page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp]
You don't see this carded sets too often. I know that there is a
second carded set. There is a foto of it in Yuji Nishimura's book.

Yepp, the small missile firing Blazer!
Do you know Jim, if he's only been
sold in a set (I think with zaboga etc)?
3 hobos, 1 blazer. Could become expensive when
he pops up on yahoo ;-)
I'm also still missing the "big blazer"
and the Bullmark tin windup.
But I won the empty box for the
tin blazer last month...

OK. So, the one that Stephan won the other week was the mid sized? Jimbo, please show pics of the "small" one.

Ha ha.. She was a trip. Nah man, it's "your" thing. It belonged in your collection more than it belonged in mine.

Love that set. I was bidding on it early on, but I figured you would close the deal.

You could see the "small" MFV Blazer
(in a set) in the video, when the
2 Josh's meet Warren Schwartz.
This was the first and last time I
had seen this special Blazer.
I made some screenshots from the video:
Does anyone know if these characters had been sold separate too?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...torture!!
This boxed set is awesome Jim!
@ repairtechjon
I afraid you're right man....but I "only" want the Blazer ;-)
Every time I thought I'm getting closer to the Rockbat-Toy-Mountain-Peak,
I fall down to the ground when I see the great things you post guys.
torture!!
Matt's it totally right:"I never get tired of these characters. And apparently neither did Bullmark"
But the good thing. Lots of nice stuff to collect for the next years ;-)
Here are some more pics from the www.
This is the vinyl set I bought:
Here's the second set, even cooler
Here a bit "Rockbat art".
Backcard from a big Blazer vinyl.

Thanks for that cool mask shot Matt! Is it 1/1 or 1/6 scale? (groan) All it needs is a body, sayyyy.. four little pink pony feet sticking out from under?
I actually let you crazies influence me to the point I actually bought something small in the line. GAH! Oh, the peer pressure! It was cheep, but I have no idea if I paid double or whatever, who cares, looks FUN. WEEEeee.

You bought a Bullmark "Uni Puzzle" Blazer, nice!
You could get the Rockbat cheaper on Yahoo.
But maybe he will be relisted again for a
lower price on ebay.
The boxes are around 23 cm high
and look great...Micro Meka Machines ;-)
I talked with Sketcher about these 2 figures a few days ago. Blazer is the "bit" scarcer figure
of the duo. I think if you bought him in japan with all the fees & shipping etc he wouldn't be much cheaper.

Heehee. Thanks guys!
I appreciate the comparison photo to something I know chogoman, that's perfect. I only had a vague idea what the size was, but saw that it had a box, had some gimmicks, and was Blazer, so why not? Cheap enough for adventure/live n' learn, etc.
Sorry sketch! Didn't mean to scoop the Rrrraaareee!!! centerpiece for your collection. =0) Did you get any bots-on-trikes yet?

Back to this. I picked up that Rockbat Uni-Puzzle, and I also found a Zaborga Uni. These are great toys that I must have more of. Does anyone know how many Uni-Puzzle toys were made? The little voice that whispers in my mind is asking for completion if it's possible. Definitely getting the Blazer when I see it.
I did pick up a trike, Jon. He's sitting in Japan awaiting shipment with a box full of love.

Glad to hear. Everybody needs at least one stupid ATC w/bot on a shelf. So silly.
Yeah, the UniPuzzle is a cool little bit-o-Bullmark vintage goodness for cheap. Very colorful box, gimmicky (so important) and a decent size toy. Glad I got it. May move to the big boys next, if I can just find a way to choloroform that crazy bidder in Germany! Ha! ;0)

Hey Dylan, congrats to the Zaboga, nice toy!
Where did you find it, Yahoo? I wonder that I missed it ;-)
I'm also curious if there are more Uni-Puzzle toys. Only know of
Rockbat, Blazer & Zaboga. But who knows, the japanese toy universe
is fathomless.
@repairtechjon
Chloroform me is a good idea, depends on which "big boys" you want
to go next ;-)
