Half Bullmark, almost qualifies for the other thread, but it's random enough for here.

Convo at my last dentists appointment :
Gal: "So, we don't need these casts of your teeth anymore, would you like to take them?"
Me: "Heck yeah, awesome!"
Gal: "Seriously? ummm.... alrighty then here ya go"

Jason, and all,
I'm headed to Orlando next week. Are there any other hobby related things I should look for in Epcot or The Magic Kingdom?
Thanks,
Mason

Matthewalt "I actually kinda LIKE that approach! You know: let's make a TOY. Remember those? Products designed to be played with without breaking? DO YOU REMEMBER, LOVE?!"
Jason, Jack - is the tin exhibit still in Japan in Epcot?

Mason, if you have the time and desire, come south a bit and pay me a visit. I'm about 3 hours from Orlando.

Most of the tin exhibit is gone, but there are still a few pieces on display. That was last year when I was there, it might have changed.
The store in Japan has some cool stuff for sale from time to time.

See you in Orlando Mason? I'll drop you an email!
the tin has been gone for a couple years now. right now they have an exhibit that showcases modern representations of traditional yokai, in one place they have a display that shows old block prints of oni next to some Lum figures and an urusei Yatsuura dvd :-p
ed
Interesting, I thought I had looked last year and there were a few kicking around. It might have been a couple of years ago. Disneyworld is like a second home, the trips all blur together for me.
I'll have to go check out that other exhibit.
"Disneyworld is like a second home"

That's messed up, Ed. ;)

Well it is kinda true. It's not messed up when you have a timeshare and too many points to use. ;)
The only park I/we haven't been to is Hong Kong. Oh and of course Shanghai, but that one is just getting started in the construction phase.
nice repro of one of the oni pull toys...

Careful Mason! He's got a coin-taking meter at the collection room door. When your 30min. are up, *BOOM*, yer back sitting by the curb. ;0)

As to Inazuman - man, that looks painful.

You and me both! I had the chance to buy a one legged loose POS one long ago and I jumped on it. However, the seller flaked. Even a handicapped version would have been very welcome in my home.

Per my son's imagination, this is "Battle Tofu." Combo of Tofu Oyako and some weapons from the new Hasbro Skullgrin. Kinda reminiscent of the baby carriage of death from Lone Wolf and Cub/Shogun Assassin.

More serious than thou

Nuthin' but a buncha stupid vinyl-y robots....
Ooops. I mean, ...the dynamic graphics on those 4 Jumbo boxes are insanity for ripping my face off so hurt!

The half-in-the-shadows look of GodMarz and T28 is extra points.
Twenty bucks in a lot with some other Voltron stuff. Popy style limb lions.

Dylan, why're you posting one of Erik's cell phone pics?? :P
Sjoen can't corner the market on blurry pics!

Plus, I just liked the way this mistake turned out. The color is what does it for me. I'm weird like that.

-dylan
I CAN identify most of the toys. And like the colors. Am I weird too?
josh fraser (Moderator)

Josh I think you should have started a Totally EPIC thread for that pic... seriously O_o
