Random stuff on my desk? I just so happen to be working on an emergency software release for tonight, but what the hell? Why not shoot some random pics.

Nothing random on the desk at the moment but here's a quick snap of the coffee table.

I typically don't have toys "just lying around", but I did get this in the mail yesterday and hadn't put it away just yet.
And here's a random shelf/desk shot. Can you tell me what's wrong with this picture?

Fun stuff, everybody.
Okay, if this doesn't qualify for random vintage, I'm gonna cry. Straight from my one indulgent random-whatever find shelf.
Some other junk laying around.

Looks like the Soul of Soft Vinyl version. Great detail on those.
[edit] Just noticed the vintage Inazuman behind the Bandai. Totally awesome piece, and better than the newer version for sure. So many gems in that shot, Chris!
Awesome shots all around! Keep em coming.
Another old pic, but for some reason I still really dig this picture:

Great pics everyone.
Jon, you're making me want to grab some Shogun puzzles. And I've always wanted an Ovion, but am too cheap and lazy to get one.. Also, you ever heard of a blow molded Lost In Space Ovaltine premium? Keep an eye out for me. I know you see weird stuff. ;)
Chris, who are those guys behind the Inazuman and Barom 1 figures? The guy with the lightning bolt face and his buddy to the left?

Lightning bolt guy is a weird character called Densenman.I'm not sure if he even ever had a show...
Do you mean the weird red psychadelic guy with the white head?? His name is Kagestar. There's even a Popy diecast of him..

Dave,
I'm pretty sure the lightning bolt face guy is from Ninja Captor (I think I'm butchering the name).
Dylan, oddly I didn't even notice the newer Inazuman vinyl right in front of the one I was talking about.

Densenman certainly looks like a Ninja Captor but I've always seen this record album in association
I thought someone told me once that he was a Japanese wrestling character or something from that time period..

Dammit Jim....every time I see a pic of your collection, I find one more thing to be on the hunt for....first it was the clear w/ guts Red Baron, then the Pegas MFV, then the Aka Ranger talker....now I need to find a damn Kamen Rider Super 1 talker.

Densenman is such a cool design. I asked Matt to give me the low down on that guy. To paraphrase...
He was like a gag character that showed up on a Japanese variety / comedy show. The name of the show was something like "See! Eat! Laugh!"
Here's the Japanese Wikipedia article on the character btw:
