OOO, I like the battery tester kid. I'd love to see the look on a homeowners face if i pulled that out of my toolbag, instead of a regular multimeter!

Star Mite! Despite the most absurd missile firing mechanism ever (bottom of the foot..huh?) I love me some Star Mites. I picked up my first pair @ Kmart as a kid and I must say, "Mars" looks a lot better w/Repto (from the Micronauts) wings attached to his back. Spider Warrior and Claw Warrior are just brilliant in their absolute fugliness.
some more Space Robots.
Jim inspired me ;-)

A few more old fotos. Italian Robots and the legendary
Star Defender.

why anyone would make a bootleg of urokoman i have no idea, but here it is in all its hong kong glory. thanks for those amazing shots chogoman. i would be in photoshop for the next month trying to do that. love those funky robots !
AMAZING shots...yeah!!!

Jim,
That Urokumon, is it a bootleg or a weathered version? I can't tell the scale by your photo. What, no cigarette packs handy?[www.microforever.com]

These are kind of awesome.

Anyone seen the other giant Star Defender chogo-bots? I've only seen the conehead dude.
@Mike

I have seen another (different) Star Defender on giocattolivecchi.com
for sale, I think its a year ago.
It was the "boss palder style" head Star Defender, as far as I can remember.
Sanjeev (Admin)
Heh...Scopedog, I have that very same blue Remco "Robot Defender" upstairs at home!

Stephan, that Star Defender pic of "Daltanias" and "Grendizer" meeting their Popy counterparts is hilarious! It really looks like real Daltanias is just gonna shoot them both!
robot defenders.. that explains where this dougram-ish gun came from. now that i know i can set it on fire with no guilt.
Sanjeev (Admin)
C'mon, Mark...these sorta count as bootleg Dougram toys! Ya can't just burn everything ya don't understand! :P
Robot Defenders...good old Remco, maker of marginal junk.

I think my fave is the Lightan-ish ripoff "Mysterians". Ick.

Really?? Dunno...I'm a Mac guy. Best to stay safe if in doubt.
Jim, you have the Bilbine boot with the "good" colors. Seen the dayglow pink/lime version? Eeesh...
i used to have the pink and green one. I think it had feathers??

Dude, I love Westworld!

...And I'm pretty sure I'm one of the younger guys around here... :P

such a cluster fuck of goodness.
I saw both Westworld and Futureworld for the first time this year and I liked them both.

That telephone robot is nuts...those pistons have been used in sooo many different fuglies.
Those "wacky Japanese". Actually, Bandai/Namco has the 5sec Timer and Bubble Wrap games, as iPhone apps, now.

That selection you have is mind-blowing. King of Beast is one of the most magnificent robots ever. A shelf of indescribable wonders.
