It's clear that you need to print a 80mm version of your Maz to go with my duo. That would be killer :))
Sanjeev (Admin)
Can do!

Incidentally, they (Shapeways) printed him on his back--not on his feet...but not sideways, either. That's why the print lines are so pronounced on the Scrander wings. :/
Clearly Excellent.

I'd like to know that as well. Maybe it's a test shot of some sort?
MattAlt (Admin)
"a test shot of some sort?"

I meant more along the lines of "why now all of a sudden?" It's a limited-ed release via the Bandai website, solicited earlier this month (and already sold out?!)

There's something downright Gargamel-y about these Charactics Henshin Cyborg mini-vinyls (thanks Hills!)

Clearly fate!

Nearly six months to the day after Yaco and I had our first translucent beer-fest in Shibuya, I dropped by the bar again and the owner presented me with this. It apparently fell off the table and got knocked under a bookshelf, where it spent the last half a year until they found it while cleaning. Then again, it's labeled "invisible man" so maybe it was actually hiding right there in plain sight, unseen...

Wait, was Hillsy with you? Maybe it was waiting for a visit from him? ;0)

Clear benefits of being a regular for sure.
Clearly, it didn't take full advantage of my visit since it didn't make it's way into my pants.

Hey Alt....can you check with the owner to see if he found all the money from my wallet under that bookcase? ;)

Yeah, those Star Wars guys really slot in well with Japanese translucent toys.

Nice find, Mike -- some bigger pics here:

Tanks for the translucence! I love that we're still encountering new toys in this supremely cheap series.

Matthewalt "I actually kinda LIKE that approach! You know: let's make a TOY. Remember those? Products designed to be played with without breaking? DO YOU REMEMBER, LOVE?!"
Haha, you noticed the pattern!

Hrmm, I sorta pick up toys of flat-fender jeeps now and then..if only there are some half clear mechanic insert WW II jeep toys, I may have to look around.

Clearly an underappreciated line...
Microman 1999 Comic BomBom Lucky Draw Robotman Ghost...I believe only 10 were produced? Someone from Malaysia is selling one on the Facebook Micromanaut group for $350.

Great pics (icluding the others on Flickr)!

According to this page, 101 in total, all as giveaways. Still a really limited figure! There's also a non-limited TRU edition in translucent red, too.

Ah, I see, only 10 were given away in the contest, specifically.

Ha, I remember Reiji posting that page on Micro-World back in the day. I wonder how he's doing these days, I should shoot him a line again.

Edit: actually the page says there were 111. :)

Clearly math isn't my strong suit... Yes, 111.

Anyway...

Cup o' Clear! I can't believe I missed these, they were sold with Cup O' Noodles packages a couple of years back. They need "guts" though.

Thanks for the link to release info on the Ghost Robotman. I didn't realize they were given out over several methods.
