There's something downright Gargamel-y about these Charactics Henshin Cyborg mini-vinyls (thanks Hills!)

Clearly fate!
Nearly six months to the day after Yaco and I had our first translucent beer-fest in Shibuya, I dropped by the bar again and the owner presented me with this. It apparently fell off the table and got knocked under a bookshelf, where it spent the last half a year until they found it while cleaning. Then again, it's labeled "invisible man" so maybe it was actually hiding right there in plain sight, unseen...

Clearly, it didn't take full advantage of my visit since it didn't make it's way into my pants.
Hey Alt....can you check with the owner to see if he found all the money from my wallet under that bookcase? ;)

Yeah, those Star Wars guys really slot in well with Japanese translucent toys.
Nice find, Mike -- some bigger pics here:

Tanks for the translucence! I love that we're still encountering new toys in this supremely cheap series.

According to this page, 101 in total, all as giveaways. Still a really limited figure! There's also a non-limited TRU edition in translucent red, too.

Ah, I see, only 10 were given away in the contest, specifically.
Ha, I remember Reiji posting that page on Micro-World back in the day. I wonder how he's doing these days, I should shoot him a line again.
Edit: actually the page says there were 111. :)

Clearly math isn't my strong suit... Yes, 111.
Anyway...
Cup o' Clear! I can't believe I missed these, they were sold with Cup O' Noodles packages a couple of years back. They need "guts" though.
