Let me be absolutely clear...

If you get one you have to get a mini Death Cross to fight him too, like so:
[blogs.yahoo.co.jp] A shame the mini Death Cross doesn't have the visible innards unlike his big brother or either version of Saurer.

(I have two of the three mini Death Cross variants, need the remaining one and would love to get at least one mini Machine Saurer myself....)
I can't believe I'm sayin this... but I'm gonna need another shelf for these darn things....

It's official: Machine Saurer toys are incapable of looking bad, no matter the format.

Great granddaddy of mechanic toys!?

Daiya "Ranger Robot," circa 1965 (ironically, purchased by someone at the Morphy's auction! If only I'd known.)

Very cool! Yeah, there's quite a few vintage tin walkers with clear chest, and/or head pieces showing gears, action scenes, etc, but that one takes a prize for most clear plastic body.

It's great to see some clear that goes decades with minimal yellowing, and cloudiness.

Another ancestor: Robert Robot, from Fireball XL5. Amazed nobody's ever produced a toy of this. Nice custom here, though.

Definitely. Injection molded stuff seems to survive a lot better than vinyl, from what I can tell.
I wonder if RetroBrite works on clear materials for restoring UV damage?

I really dig that last one, shades of Matt Mason/Outer-Space Men!

When I ran into Yaco at Superfest, things got a little hectic and I think we ended up absconding with nearly anything that wasn't translucent or nailed down in the building.

"Security, please report to aisle 5, please report to aisle 5. Clearly looney shoppers in aisle 5. All available units please respond!"
That header reminds me of the bootleg Devilman vinyl header.

"Help!! I've accidentally swallowed my pilot!!"

(Vintage cheapie, maker unknown, 3" high, sold header-bagged)

Ultimate TSA scan.

Battery powered, Japanese. Around 1968 I think? Props spin, wheels travel, and the stewardess moves up and down the aisle between the tin litho passengers in their seats. Pretty complex action on this one.

Really nice -- would love to see video!

And sort of a prototype for this? ;)

Ha, I was about to reply to the reply from...naw, never mind.

Clearly I was mistaken.

This guy clearly doesn't need a hand. (edit: Or perhaps I should say he's heavily armed?)

Call him Legion, for he is many-tentacled.

I don't usually collect non-insert translucent stuff, but this was a gift and it's purty. It's a test-shot of a Bandai PVC figure.

Is it possible to add inserts of some kind during the process, or is that not possible? Because that would look AMAZING with a metal sheet insert, like these Unifive keychains Yaco found a while back:

Well, the model used is plain but everything is possible, maybe if it's split in two and with a space inbetween, there will be the space for an insert. But no plan for that right now, it was just a test for fun.
