Blast! Figures you'd beat me to the punch. Nice to see Hasbro getting the pictures out first on most of these, as opposed to leaked prototypes.

On to the pics... Wow, Arcee looks way better than I was expecting. I didn't trust Hasbro to make a good toy out of the art we saw, but she looks like a fun little bot. Sorta BGC-esque. Now put out more fembots, dangit!

Wow. Lots of impressive stuff here, overall - the later waves just can't come fast enough. Mirage especially looks really nice... I absolutely love the colors on that one, even if the vehicle mode is a little goofy (a flying boat?). The Energon sword is nifty lookin', too. Here's hoping it'll actually be sword sized, as opposed to the dagger sized swords put out for Armada. Insecticon looks a lot better painted, but he still doesn't look like that exciting a toy, overall.

Energon toys finally hit Colorado (of course, I don't think anyone else here is actually in Colorado, but still). I found Ironhide and Fatimus at the local TRU, and picked up Ironhide. I'll post impressions when I do. Also managed to grab the McFarlane APU at a Gamestop, but that one will probably sit in the box for a while, due to lack of somewhere to put it out.

Mirage has Gundam legs. The shape of the calves and thighs are dead-on to the RX-78, and he even has the two-tone rectangular feet...

Mirage's forehead crest reminds me of something, but I don't know what.

I was thinking Five Star Stories. The legs remind me more of G Gundam.

Wow, I can't even keep up with all the new pictures hitting the net these days. Energon definately has its' highs and lows. I really dig that Mirage, and Insecticon has his qualities too.
