T-REX toys.... whoa

Posted by Jerilock
Haven't seen any mention of this on here, which surprises me. [maruta.be] I guess all of these are limited run and sold only at wonder fest.... that circus 1 is amazing and don't even get me started on the Giant Gorg... *drool*
Google translate:

"Next up is "non-scale variable Garubion Ver, 1.5"

Last WF indeed nearly half of the re-designed parts that were sold in Garubion variable is updated to resell remodeling.

Price 30,000 yen Color Cast assembly kit. "

Hm, I thought the plastic looked a bit...thin. When they 'non-scale' I hope they mean Kotobukiya non-scale. Especially if it's $300+.

T-Rex is a great little company, but they don't get discussed here much because they mainly make garage kits (albeit easy to assemble ones.) It's run by two guys who are former sculptors for Yamato; they worked on the Valkyries and a lot of other toys for them.
What is the scale of the Giant Gorg?

I don't know the scale, but it's 31cm tall -- just over a foot. I guess that makes it roughly 1/48 scale, like the old Takara toy? Here's to hoping he does a Mannon Type next.
