I never bought any of the transforming Digimon toys but I did like the engineering that was put into them, despite the fact that they don't transform/combine like that in the various anime.

I dunno, I actually really like how it all comes together. It is more cohesive than any gestalt Hasbro's given us in years, and certainly looks like more fun.
