I never understood why they had little handles on their ankles. And then in one scene in the show one guy is caught by those handles so he wouldn't smash through a wall.

Was fiddling with Ryo yesterday; he's a pretty nice figure, but I can't see him as something I'll EVER "transform" with any frequency, as it's a process that's almost guaranteed to shred certain parts of the armor as you put them on and off (particularly the way the shoulder pads and side skirts are mounted on - the left side skirt pegs on mine are a chrome flaked mess after only one transformation, mercifully hidden under the skirts themselves). The diecast gives him some nice heft, though, and the metallic finish looks fantastic.
The only other figure I really would want would be Anubis, but I'm not going to hold my breath that he (or even any of the other warriors until I get some concrete confirmation) will ever get made...

if the line is successful i see borgman as a potential release, especially if takara's license has expired.....
or maybe a kinnikuman armor version. although unlikely, it would be a cool addition to the other kinnikuman nisei figures that bandai di da couple of years back....
maybe a zillion figure too, once again highly unlikely...
a puraresu sanshiro armor plus would also be kinda cool....

Kinda surprised that there hasn't been a new Diapolon toy at all. I mean they've made new toys for Mekenda Robo, Machine Blaster and Gingaizer for crying out loud.

I am stunned, STUNNED that Evil is up (conceptually and prototype-wise) already. I would have thought one of the other Samurai Troopers chara would get the nod. I mean, there's that whole 'warring states period mania' going on and stuff.

Here is my ArmorPlus with the old Bandai kit for comparison. Overall I like it but it is a bit floppy with the metal armor on. It is no better than the old kit in terms of poseability, sadly.

Yes, and yes. A little fiddly at times, but overall a very nice package. Exceptionally cheap from Amiami right now, as well, along with 50% off shipping.

I notice they have pretty good deals in Amiami but how do you guys order with them? I mean, their site is entirely in Japanese! Even if I run a website translator, I can't even figure out how to register myself (since you'll need to be registered to make a purchase), let alone communicate with the site operators! Is there any simple way to place an order with them.. in English? Thanks!
