Usually your work is lost on me as I don't care for your subjects, but this group of shots are fantastic. You're very talented. If you had been taking pics of my toys when I was a child I most likely would have had quite a few more than I ended up with.

Nice begrudging compliment. You might as well have said "I hate what you normally do, but this is cool." I personally think this guy does amazing work, and it generally captures the kind of suspension of disbelief that I love so much about this hobby.

The lighting you installed in the chain bases really makes these photos. That must have taken quite a bit of time, too. The "grain" (intentional or not) also helps them look a bit more "real". Very nice.
