Opinions on Yamato 1/60 SV-51 mass production?

So, uh, HLJ has the Yamato SV-51 Cannon Fodder on sale:
I kinda like the design, as it is different from the usual Valks. On MW they say it is the best version, quality-wise. However, reading the MW threads makes me think that it is another case of "Yamatophily" where not-so-good QC gets talked up into 'decent/good' QC.
So, opinions?
Does it suck compared to, say, a Cm's Corp toy? Or is it worthwhile?

I don't have the CF 51, I have the nora which is in the same boat with regards to cries of "OMG PORFEKT!". I WILL say it's rather good in comparison to other Yamato plastic products, but it's not entirely flawless. Mine still has a slightly droopy right wing, and you'll never be able to hold the fighter upside down without the wings flopping down; that's just a matter of design, unfortunately.
Overall though, it's fairly well designed and thought out, and has withstood several drunken transformations (my own personal QC test for fragility) without incident. It's hips are pretty wiggly and it's not the most stable toy (again, design) in the world, but it's definitely different, which gives it big bonus points.
Can't stand that godawful brown though.
