Damn, that reminds me that I never got the rest of the Ecole du Ciel mangas... or that sweet B-club kit of the new trainer GM.

VF5SS just told me that the Angel Birds VF-1 is supposed to look like it's wearing a seifuku. I looked at this Yamato toy photo and now I can't unsee it.

I was gonna write something goofy about a battroid dressed like Minmay being a creepy fantasy of mine, but then...

Well...the good news is that
Yamato 1/60 Blazer = sex in my eyes

It's kinda weird... the fighter mode looks a ton better than the old Bandai, but the bot mode has the same chunkiness of the Bandai sculpt. More articulation, but just as doofy. Wondering what's up with that Gerwalk pic, too.

Their website has a few more pics. Like the more regular Gerwalk mode and where the gun stores.

VF-17 is a big boy. If you compare to the design art, this toy's legs are actually slimmed down a little!

no they're just showing you can do both. If you check the other pics it's done normally with the arms folded up
Gamlin had to do the other way with the hands exposed a few times. Because in Macross, Gerwalk mode exists for saving young female singers from certain peril.

Ah. Yeah, I saw the "normal" shots from before...I just can't recall that scene from Mac7...
Anyway, I wonder if it'll have the cool "space-gun" gimmick loaded in the lower leg.

Check that one VF-25 below the orange and white YF-25. I guess SMS is now hiring from the Mirage Knights.

The only time they did that was with the "movie color" Alto VF-25, which I'm still not sure if that was the biggest joke on Bandai or the fans.
