Depends on how cheap they'd be...I'm really not interested in paying that much. I'm pretty happy with the base plane.
Just bought a YF-29 from Amiami and decided to get a iGear ramjet while I was on the computer lol, now I just have to wait and see how things work out with the Postal strike here in Canada. Their suppose to go back to work but they said it would take a few days to get things back up to speed so considering Friday and Monday are holidays I figure stuff will be sorted out next week with Amiami shipping out sometime after that. I'm so glad I paid 4000YEN for EMS shipping to :-(

first look at the VF-25 Renewal version

looks a lot more like the CG model this time

it is supposed to be due in October of this year
So, where's MacrossWorld with the line by line comparison to the old toy. It just looks like a 25 to me...

I make 3D printed mecha action figures.
Just had an opportunity to handle my Fire Valk - amazing. One of the best Yamato toys to date. Between this and that big Zoids Diecast they have been hitting it out of the park. Love it.

If they redo the RVf-25, I'm sold.

I hope they do the gunpod storage-in-leg too.

I have the old DX toy of this, but it's kind of chunky without proper gunpod stowage.

I could also go for a VF-171 EX Nightmare Plus EX.

Careful Sanjeev....I'll start thinking you've been drinking from the TAG judge kool-aid.

I had to go back a page to see what you were (I was) referring to...

Nope: moe-bot's still a fucking monstrosity.

No, this is a monstrosity:

I just got mine TODAY, from HLJ, due to the striking Canada Post fray. It made my day!
Did you get yours locally or did you succumb to eBay?

I was swooshing it around for about ten minutes before I figured out that the wings extended. The engineering on this thing is incredible.

I got mine through Amiami, had it on pre-order and as soon as the news of Canada Post going back to work I received my payment notice the next day from them. Got it about 5 days later but got hit with $27 in customs fee's. But yeah it's a pretty remarkable toy, my only problem is trying to get the head back down and forward when trying to transform it back to fighter mode, I've seen some pretty nasty pics of chipped paint because of this.
Yikes.
I can see where this might be an issue... dang this white-paint-on-red plastic problem. However, unlike Yamato's 1/60 Miriya 1J, one CAN avoid the scratches if one focuses. I wonder how to FAST packs will treat the toy, though.
I'm not sure it looks like it just slides over the wing boosters with no additional bracing. It's probably to keep the swiveling function of the wings but I'm concerned about the added weight and stress it would put on that joint. I can easily see it not being able to hold it's position over time but I hope Bandai designed this toy with the Fast Packs in mind so they should be fine over the long run unlike the original DX VF-25's.

some phat tweets. Confirming VF-19F, S, and P type. Also a Destroid Phalanx kit.

Which Vf-19 was it that Basara flew at the end of Dynamite?

That would be the P type. VF-19P.
Man, this is awesome. I'm probably gonna get the 19S and 19P! Excited!

Of course, I want the 19P before it got covered in space whale blood. I wonder if they'll do that.

Phalanx...kit? Interesting! May be some life to the destroids afterall. Hope they make a Spartan as well at some point.

YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Finally. Totally buying this. The VF-1 is the only transforming jet that matters, and rendering its form in solid white allows for the purest appreciation of its majestic design. The 1A head, indeed, is the quintessential robot head - with no accoutrements besides a camera eye, an antenna, and a neck joint, it exposes the ornamentation of all other robot heads as foolish and unnecessary.

They really just need to come out with a kit with all the heads. Nice that it comes with side covers and the seat. What is that other mystery part though?
The other part is a cover for the gap between the neck and backplate.

The VF-1J comes with the baby pod as seen in Viva Maria, episode 30.

"They really just need to come out with a kit with all the heads."

It's probably just an inventory control thing. Or they think people will just buy the one they want. Who knows.
