I prefer the Eighties-drenched sensibility of Richie Kotzen's English version of the First Gundam theme song, myself. HOT LIXX!

Zaku's been hitting the juice. But it's cool: the prosecution will just fuck up and present banned evidence. Mistrial!

That model came out last year to coincide with the GunPla Builders TV show (its a modern PlaMo Kyoshiro).

<<I posted both of those earlier in this thread, but no one pays attention to what I post unless I act like a jerk.>>
Are you sure it's not the other way around? Maybe people ignore your posts BECAUSE you act like a jerk (not to be confused with TEH JERK).
I actually bought the Beargguy model recently on deep discount, locally. It's so darn cute, and I feel so darn dirty.

I don't recall how long ago I posted the model pics. Too lazy to backtrace the thread.

I saw the sample "Mega Size Model" of Gundam AGE displayed in a store downtown the other day, and in spite of having no particular love for or even any real interest in the series, I was impressed -- at least visually.
It's really huge (close to 40cm, which is like 15" tall), it's blocky, it's colorful, it lights up. Almost reminds me of those old "Deluxe" Gundam toys from the Eighties.

Check out the last photo in this Amiami page, the low-angle shot. It's really got some presence. And all the little vents all over it look great at large scale.

I don't have pics handy but shown off where actual toys for Gundam Age. Not Robot Damashii but toys with exposed screws and aren't terribly expensive (think like those 7 1/2 inch G Gundam figures). This shows that they're definitely targeting a younger demographic here.
Edit. Pic showing what I'm talking about. The limbs can be swapped.

Honest to goodness Gundam TOYS. Not collector figures but 1/100 with screws made of ABS toys.

Interchangeable limbs? That's dope as hell.
It's weird that you have to buy the AGE's Titus limbs in two separate sets:
and it would be nice if they were CHEAPER - a set of arms and legs costs just 300 yen less than a full figure. I suppose the Titus limbs do consist of more plastic than the standard AGE limbs, though.
On the other hand, this is really cool:
At no extra cost, you can get a special edition of the AGE morpher with the AGE-01's torso in red. Presumably that shade of red matches either the Titus limbs or the Genoace's main color, but even if it doesn't quite match, it should make for some good-looking combinations with those figure parts.
Damn it, I don't care about Gundam AGE at all, but this gimmick just might get me buying these toys!

THIS IS AWESOME.
I dunno if it's actually a significant component of the price - it's probably just an RFID chip no more complex than an anti-theft tag.
But man, that's cool. I totally missed that fact in the description of the AGE Device.

I kinda agree.Still, the Gafran is tempting.

I love how it looks with one Titus arm and one normal arm. Yeah, pretty sure I'm going to end up getting into this line...
