about fuggin time. Just the head and core fighter so far, but they look great. Classic TV look. can't wait to see more. Better have some long skinny legs and prominent calves.

Didn't they already do one? Wasn't the OYW version pretty much a 1/100 scaled down PG? This is more like the ver. 4.0.
This folks is why I gave up buying Gundam kits. Every few months it's a rehash for $20 more than the one they did before. I now it's partly because I've been buying the MG kits since the Dom, but every new MG is a slap in the face with no God damn MG Guntank.

Ah, but that's the fucking point. The PG Gundam and all the Master grade versions to date have been some degree of Katoki redesign. This "2.0" will be the first MG with all new parts and the first to attempt to emulate the original Gundam as it appeared in MSG and the movie trilogy. Finally. I have been NEEDING this.
And yes, They do need to make a MG Guntank.

Quite a gimmick if they can really fit a rotating cockpit inside a transforming 1:100 core fighter.

Wow, the G-Tank has motorized treads, shooting action like the Acguy, and lights and recoil action. It appears they finally realized they hadn't done a Guntank yet and decided to make up for the fact by making it the most feature-heavy MG ever. It's almost Glorious Series quality. I hope it's not Glorious Series price.

Man, as many RX-78's as I have, there's always room for one more.... and one more....... and one more.... and......

What happened to the MG Guntank? Bandai showed what looked like a finished version months ago and it's been MIA ever since. I haven't bought a Gundam kit since the MG Gyan, and the GT was going to be my final Gundam kit. I guess Bandai heard about it and wants me to reconsider.
I realize the economy makes the overly detailed and electronics-laden kit they showed probably more pricey than what it was going to be back in June, but I hope it's not gone forever.

Seriously, the Ass-tray? Where the hell is the PG GP-02 to pair up with my PG GP-01?! The RX-78 got a few Zakus, the Zeta got 2 MK II's, now the Strike Gundam gets and Astray. Will GP-01 forever be alone?

How did they solve the skirt armor issue? I can't tell at all from the pictures.
