I just dig the Jew-car and wish it turned into a robot as well, and was its own toy.

I realize, but I couldn't help but crack up at the Star of David on the side... they oughta have added some police-emblem details to that.

Or at least circles on the points and SHERIFF across the center, like a dollar store toy badge :q
So how big is the transforming car from the SoC set, anyway? It looks TINY. That factor may have limited its decoration.
Actually though, since it's just the solid shape, without the interlocking lines, it didn't register as a Star of David to me, much as an outline or silhouette of a 5-pointed star doesn't register as a pentagram.
But I'm still disappointed that Bandai chose to divest Satan Gundam of his Solomonic magical hexagram when they did the SDX figure.

If not a Star or David, then maybe a magical symbol (because pretty much ALL anime that use a magic symbol, uses a six sided star). :D
Any word on when the other two Tobikage releases set for? I can't decide which one I want.

Well the star looks like that in the show so there isn't much Bandai could do with it as for making it look like a Sheriffs star I'm pretty sure there are no Sheriffs divisions in Japan.
Anyways got mine today and it's a awesome piece and with Amiami's half price shipping and discount only paid a total of $180Cdn for it (although I did get hot with a $28 Custom fee though).

Many religions use hexagrams, as well as in the occult. I prefer to call it the Freemasonsmobile.

I was thinking the same thing. The show drew much inspiration from Batman/Bruce Wayne and James Bond, seemed it would have been fitting to give the hero a car that could turn into a robot as well...And it doesn't seem that would have been hard to do, with some design tweeks you could have car mode, jet/ship mode, and a robot somewhat resembleing G1 Blitzwing from the same basic design the car/jet now has.
Damn...that gives me ideas! :D

Got my Daitarn today.
It kinda looks like a cross between Ideon with Zanbot 3. It feels old yet is new.
I love the car, its a welcome addition *cough* Big O *cough*.. The 3 tiny blobs of painted plastic that resemble the car in each of its modes, while okay with the tightness of those plastic trays, they gonna go flying if it unexpectingly gives way while openning. I don't know why there is an alternate face. What they did with Raideen was fine. The pelvic rocket should fire and the fake tank tracks should have been left off as they get hidden/covered in all modes.
This seems like a lot of negatives, but 'flaws' seem to stand out more on first impressions. The one thing that did blow my mind tho, and I tip my hat to the engineers, is the two cannon barrels. Just wow.
I've only just started handling the guy and haven't started on all the weapons yet, but if you own a few of the other big SOC's your collection will look strange without him.

I heard they're only going to be Web Exclusive sets of armor for theSPEC L-gaim, in an attempt to boost sales.

XS is the designation used for the Soul Spec series. Were you thinking it would be GX? That designation's used for the normal Soul of Chogokin line.

Do they use the X for the regular releases? Usually when X shows up in a designation like that, it means it'll be an exclusive. Well, if I'm wrong in my assumption, then I'll gladly retract my sarcasm at the idea of these being a web exclusive.

Like what?
The only Tamashii Spec limited item I can think of, the Nadesico Yatenkou & Muzura set, apparently didn't have an alphanumeric code at all.

Oh, and the same goes for the Black Serena with clear armor:

Wow, that is nice. Is this still limited to 100?

Not surprising in the least. Unfortunately as much as I love these designs I'll probably have to pass. The cost of the figures with proxy fees is just too much. :<
