The Anime Collectors Swordfish would be great, but one of the wing folding hinges on mine broke after a couple of times back and forth. It's kinda smallish, about the size of the model kit, I think.
Maybe they'll do a Project BM! 1/6 scale Spike and Swordfish... :3

Tell you friend to PayPal me $10 and a $3 Gcrush usury fee, and I'll ship it Sanjeev-style to his/her home in a jiffy.

Ohh, even a Zerokage figure.
Tobikage's one of those shows I hope to see some day. Looks to combine great things in a mecha anime. Plus Toshihiro Hirano was the character design and Koichi Ohata the mecha designer.

I asked if I have "Time For L-Gaim" but I got "No Reply From The Wind".

I have the Sword Fish II and its definitely pricey, but I still think its a good toy and I just plain like it. Maybe I am a little biased because I like Cowboy Bebop so much. gingaio, you forgot to mention that the gun barrel of the plasma cannon is also metal.

You know, after killing off my Miku thread I should be obliged to withhold this pic for you guys but I'll play nice only because I want the non transformable version of Tobikage.

I am glad you listened to the nobler part of yourself, Vince. Your threat would be about as effective as a philosopher's strike. :)

Now that you mention it, Bandai and I go way back...and so does my debt.
Though after spending my funds on upgrade sets for my TFs, SOCs seem like a better 'package' deal each time. Except for Big-O, that cost me more than Gunbuster after the add ons.
So, am I correct in assuming that each Ninja Machine (Kurojushi, Houraioh and Bakuryu) will come with either the foldable Tobikage, the action/more sexy looking (non-foldable) Tobikage and Zerokage?

More proto pics: [hk.myblog.yahoo.com]
It looks like the Full-action Tobikage will be a different scale then the rest of the figures (expect for Zerokage, perhaps).

How odd is this....
Since when did Sideshow start carrying the SOC and even odder is that it is listed as being manufactured by Tamashii Nations not Bandai...
I thought that Toynami was the distributor for the Tamashii stuff here in the US....
Very Weird....

Ain't that curious?
I guess Sideshow has an 'ask Sideshow' page, someone might question them but they might not want to reply...
I thought when Toynami made their announcement back in '08 there was a hint that Bandai really didn't want their name on the product, everything was going to be stickered 'Toynami/Tamashii', much like back in the '90s when they first broke into the American anime market as 'Animevillage', trying really hard to keep the Bandai name out of it.
Well, Sideshow has done a bangup job of getting the Hot Toys/Blister Direct and Medicom figures to the American marketplace as 'rare, limited, EXPENSIVE' items, so maybe Bandai figures this is the approach to take, and it'll work THIS TIME FOR SURE!
