Yeah. I shelled out for the May'n concert, and luckily CD Japan delivered the 2 Frontier singles I ordered just the other day. Will be meeting 2 other fans from MW who will be in town as well.
The irritating part though: the organisers haven't released a proper timetable for the Ohkawara and Koji Morimoto talks... slackers. Took 4 days to confirm my tickets.

Not sure what they were thinking here either. I don't know what exact culture was in mind when Reideen was designed, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Spanish or anything European. I think it would look much better if it had an Egyptian or distinctly glyphic theme in the tampo printing intstead.

It would look good as a christmas decoration..
Also just got Daimos & Tetsujin/Black Ox Set in the post today. On first glance I'm rather impressed by both.
But here are some things that are puzzling me:
Why does Tetsujin (& Black Ox for that matter) have two heads? Was it really necessary to have another head just for the looking up gimmick? Surely they could have incorporated them into the one.
Also his fancy knee joints are pretty much wasted because of a strange hip joint that has very little movement.
And whats with the spring loaded mechanism in his jet pack?
I havent played with Daimos much yet, still trying to get my head around the robot origami..

I guess Bandai isn't happy until they make everything they've made before less desirable with new versions to replace them. I guess I can't blame them, times are tough, so going back to the Mazinger well again means easy sales.
It reminds me of the Yamato Groizer X in terms of articulation.

Lol, I haven't bought an SOC Mazinger Z at all. I, too, wonder if THIS is the one? probably not though.
Daizengar and Aussenseiter
I'm still waiting on horse mode.
