Yeah. I shelled out for the May'n concert, and luckily CD Japan delivered the 2 Frontier singles I ordered just the other day. Will be meeting 2 other fans from MW who will be in town as well.

The irritating part though: the organisers haven't released a proper timetable for the Ohkawara and Koji Morimoto talks... slackers. Took 4 days to confirm my tickets.

hmmm... not so interested in that Falguen. Rather have a SPEC L-Gaim Mk.2 or Bat Shu or G-Roon, even a Dessard. whatever.

More serious than thou
Howzabout a SPEC Vifam?

God I can't wait for the Falguen.

I know some people around here don't like the proportions of the new SOC T-28, but man, it looks EXACTLY like it does in the anime. (It's been airing on TV here, in HD no less, and incidentally MAN IS IT BAD -- but that's another story. :)
I love the proportions. He looks really dynamic.
They got all fancy & stuff.

OOOOOOOooooooooo I SO want that
Looks like Middle Earth Reideen of the elves
Yeah, not wanting this so much.

More serious than thou
Yeah, wanting this very much.
It does look good, something different compared to what they usually do with the blacks, but I wasnt happy with the normal Reideen, so no matter if it looks like a dark elf or blinged up like a christmas tree, i aint buying another one.
Bullfighter Reideen is go!

WTF were they thinking there?
Not sure what they were thinking here either. I don't know what exact culture was in mind when Reideen was designed, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Spanish or anything European. I think it would look much better if it had an Egyptian or distinctly glyphic theme in the tampo printing intstead.
I'm thinking Celtic or Ancient Greek, maybe.

I asked if I have "Time For L-Gaim" but I got "No Reply From The Wind".
Done up like that it reminds me of the rail-laying bot that wrestled with Sasuraiger toward the end of the director's cut of "Once Upon a Time in the West".
It would look good as a christmas decoration..

Also just got Daimos & Tetsujin/Black Ox Set in the post today. On first glance I'm rather impressed by both.
But here are some things that are puzzling me:
Why does Tetsujin (& Black Ox for that matter) have two heads? Was it really necessary to have another head just for the looking up gimmick? Surely they could have incorporated them into the one.
Also his fancy knee joints are pretty much wasted because of a strange hip joint that has very little movement.
And whats with the spring loaded mechanism in his jet pack?

I havent played with Daimos much yet, still trying to get my head around the robot origami..

Voltes Classic

I wonder if the new voltes fixes the loose head problem? I use the small door on the back to prop the head up, but still..
I wonder if the new Voltes fixes the weak connection between the torso and abdomen?

Really? I have no problem in that department with mine..
How did this get to the second page?!

More XS-11 Falguen pics inside!
I hope it still has an internal skeleton. Looks to be it.

I like it!

It pays to hold off if you know a better version is inevitable.

Isn't that the OVA version?

I guess Bandai isn't happy until they make everything they've made before less desirable with new versions to replace them. I guess I can't blame them, times are tough, so going back to the Mazinger well again means easy sales.

It reminds me of the Yamato Groizer X in terms of articulation.

Or the just-released Tetsujin 28.

More serious than thou
Hmm... I haven't bought an SOC Mazinger Z since the original (with it's crappy chest fire connection pieces), and that was what, 10 years ago? Maybe it's time to upgrade... or maybe I'll wait another year for the -R to come out.
Considering I missed out on GX-07.. This might just fit the bill..

Lol, I haven't bought an SOC Mazinger Z at all. I, too, wonder if THIS is the one? probably not though.

Daizengar and Aussenseiter

I'm still waiting on horse mode.
Took us long enough to get shots of them but still no date or price... Aussenseiter looks a bit off but I imagine it'll look better once it actually has it's cape on. And well sacrifices are needed to turn it into a horse.

Soul of "Iron", huh? Well, shit, that makes all the difference right there.

But honestly, if this line continues, I'd consider a revamped Grendizer. Even though I loved it at the time it came out, I just can't get into my GX-04 anymore...
