Look into Robocon's eyes, and open your mind...



A few months ago I contacted my friend, master model maker Asahina Yoshikazu for a special custom project. I provided him with two Maschinen Krieger Kubricks, and two Soul of Sofubi Robocons. The instructions were simple, duplicate the approximate paint jobs of the Kubricks on the Robocons. The result:

I knew that this would be a Herculean task, but I also knew Asahina had what it takes to pull this off. He definitely knocked it out of the park this time.

Now you need to turn around and get a couple of Maschinen Kriegers painted like Robocon!

Actually, the idea probably came from an old Hobby Japan that had an SAFS painted up like Robocon. There was one in there done up like Godzilla, too. Unfortunately I don't have the issue any more.

This makes me want to follow-through with my plan of having my CM Corp's vinyl Tyrant painted with a Hawaiian color scheme...

Also, you should have one of those Robocons modded to include a pilot figure under the hood.
