Yeah, but I can't figure out how it actually *attaches* to the Legioss. Perhaps that hadn't been worked out yet. Personally, I'd think they'd work out some sort of tab that would fit between the locking tabs on the back of the calves, and/or where the upper portion of the calves locks into the lower surface of the pelvis.

Thanks, Ray, those were the pics I was talking about. If you look at that connecting boom you'll see that it's too long to fully retract into the housing behind it (the Tread's crotch). Either you have to give it Viagra beforehand or the boom is a separate piece.
I think it connects to the Legioss crotch. It's been a while since I handled mine, but check out the vent there, it's spring loaded and pushes inwards for no apparent reason.

I noticed that the hip joints look much more robust than they were in the last painted soldier-mode prototype we saw. Gotta have a strong inner pin on those hip joints, though, or it could go bad like Yamato's original VF-11B.
I really, really like it! It reminds me of Takatoku's toy interpretations of the Orguss Nikick. A little square, but with a really massive feeling.
I'm a little worried about that elbow joint. Materials and potential binding between paint and poly-caps could be a real issue there.
Thanks, Roger!

I *was* going to buy the Beta Fighter, but my mother feels that I'm not going to get anything from it...

That's amazing! Thanks for posting, Rog.
I've never heard of canned bread.
Can you please tell me if it's a Japan-only online exclusive, or is it something that stores like Betatoys will get?
Thanks,
Chieh
